Britney Brimhall

Chairman & CEO

Britney Brimhall graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in German and extensive studies in Business. Her study of business aids in the operation and growth of the company. In the past, Miss Brimhall co-founded an international intranet startup (based in Germany), and gained useful knowledge in operating a company in a virtual environment and working with current technology.

Additionally, Britney is an award-winning artist in both traditional and digital media. She has won the highest honor for art at the Arizona State Fair; won 1st place in the Parada del Sol art competition; and has won numerous awards, including Best Room Art and Animation, for her adventure games. She has worked for over a decade as an artist on several adventure, RPG, and educational projects, providing her with valuable experience working within a creative team environment. She has created contract work on games for CNN and Domino’s Pizza, as well as web design work for the Phoenix Police Department.

She pursued her own interests in game development, and co-founded Himalaya Studios, LLC and AGD Interactive, LLC (AGDI). AGDI was awarded an exclusive license from Sierra/Vivendi to remake a selection of their classic adventure game titles. Himalaya Studios, LLC focuses on developing original game content, also specializing in adventure games. In the capacity of Chairman & CEO, Britney has had the opportunity to co-manage several award-winning projects, including Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman’s Mine, King’s Quest I: Quest for the Crown, King’s Quest II: Romancing the Stones, and Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire. She has had experience creating art, design documents, websites, scripting, motivating team members, and promoting games. She has also organized casting calls for voice actors, and managed in-studio recordings.

She was the recipient of the Game Developers Conference Scholarship, awarded to only a small handful of promising game developers around the world, and has presented at the Game Developers Choice Awards. She has volunteered her time as a Conference Associate at the Game Developers Conference. She has been an avid member of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) and has spoken on the topic of successfully managing projects remotely.
