writing a game design doc IS torture... of a kind. an interesting and somewhat enjoyable torture yet a somewhat painful ordeal.

they're not a pest in most places, largely because most of the population base here is confined to the coastline however some places they need to cull. kangaroo meat is quite different. try it :)

yeah we dont have trouble with translations, but half the world outside australia thinks we all look/act/talk like crocodile dundee or steve irwin or something.  the southpark sendup of steve irwin was particularly degrading to watch as an australian.

kangaroos are a pain.  they make good eating though. i live in the capital city of this country (canberra and not sydney - a common misconception) and you cant even back out of your driveway half the time without almost hitting one. (in some suburbs anyway).  in a lot of places kangaroos are considered pests and they have to cull them. did you know theres  more kangaroos here than humans? or at least there was last time i checked.  *random triva*

could i con you guys into posting a heavily redacted (hey its not like i wanna steal your secrets) copy of your design doc for Al Emmo on the forum?  whilest there is plenty of demo design docs out there but almost NONE for adventure games.  It would be particularly handy for other indie developers to have such a resource availabe to them.   even just a doc with the various headings/sections/questions etc that were covered within your design doc and perhaps a few brief descriptions etc

i dunno, i can see why you'd say no.. and i expect you to, .. but it never hurts to ask :)

p.s the game looks good and i wish you all the best.  i'll check it out once its released and give you my 2.5c worth.
