Hey everyone,

A few weeks ago, my best friend had to clean out his childhood room because his parents were moving. He gave me a lot of his stuff to sell on eBay. Well, one of those things he had was a stockpile of old Sierra games. And what a fine collection he had. Well, guess what, they're all up on eBay now. So, if you'd just like to look and drool... or perhaps you have a game missing from your collection... please check it out!

Better hurry though! I'm gonna remove this post after the auctions are over!

Technical & Bugs forum / Gambling bug...

This may not be a bug at all, but rather a decision on the programmer's part, but I thought I'd mention it anyhow. When gambling in the Indian casino, it is not considered a pair, and thus you don't win, if you get matching items in the 1st and 3rd positions. It is only a pair if you have matching items in the 1st and 2nd, or 2nd and 3rd positions. I found this slightly annoying.

Al Emmo & the Lost Dutchman's Mine Forum /

Am I the only person who actually much prefered the text parser system over the point and click system? (which is why all my games will have it, even if they also have point and click).

Actually, I found the game to be racy too. But, that could be that I have a very dirty mind. I quite liked all the innuendo!

This may be pre-mature, but I'm curious if there's a planned walkthrough or hint system for Al Emmo. Yes, I ask because I love playing adventure games but I always get stuck so easily. I'm stuck in Al Emmo too. I don't ever find using a hint system to detract much from my enjoyment. There's very few games I've beat with out one. Back in the 80's, I was probably Sierra's number one customer for those hint books that used the yellow markers. I think I owned one for every game.

I got my special edition copy on Thursday! I love adventure games, but have never been very good at beating them without hintbooks, so, I'm still stuck in Act I. But, I love this game! I'll have to take a pic of my copy with myself... hmmm... should I bust out all my old Sierra games and put them behind us?
